| Summary | The goods are picked, sorted and staged before loading into trailers. The software schedules distribution center outbound operation for a day. It generates automatically a number of plans like wave plan, manpower plan and staging lanes plan. The plans are based on the shipping orders for the day and are passed to WMS to generate picking instructions. The goal is to build large and balanced waves without exceeding the equipment limitations. |
